Meet Dr. Trammell

Dr. Vic TrammellDr. Trammell was raised in Dexter, MO, a small town in Southeast Missouri, where he graduated high school. He enjoyed sports as well as outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. He attended the University of Missouri and obtained a B.A. in Biology. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. After his junior year of college, he married his wife Kathy. They have now enjoyed over 30 years of marriage. Kathy has been a big part of his successes.

Following college he attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO for dental school. Dr. Trammell graduated first in his dental school class, received multiple honors and chose to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Oldest son Hill was born while Dr. Trammell was in dental school.  His Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency was completed at Louisiana State University in New Orleans (Charity Hospital). His training was excellent and exposed him to all aspects of the profession. Virginia, Dr. Trammell’s daughter, was born in New Orleans.

Dr. Trammell graduated first in his dental school class, received multiple honors and chose to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

After his residency, Dr. Trammell and Kathy chose to move to Broken Arrow, OK. Youngest son John was born during his first year in private practice. He has been active in the community serving on several organizations including the Civitans. Professionally he has served in many capacities. Highlights include chief of staff at the BA Medical Center, president of the Tulsa County Dental Society and state president of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  Dr. Trammell is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Small town activities never left Dr. Trammell as he still enjoys the great outdoors. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, birddogs and horses. He now has more time for these activities as all three children have left home but return frequently. He and Kathy have been married for 38 years.
