Meet Todd Johnson, DDS

Oral Surgeon in Broken Arrow & Owasso OK

Dr. Johnson was born in San Antonio, Texas.

His family moved to Oklahoma a few years later where they lived in Blanchard, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Perry. He graduated high school in 1983 from Perry High School.

It was in high school he met his future wife, Kellye. Dr. Johnson earned his BS in Biological Sciences from Oklahoma State University in 1987.

He was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity at OSU. Following college, he began dental school and married his high school sweetheart.

Dr. Johnson attended dental school at the University of Oklahoma where he graduated first in his class and received numerous awards. After dental school he chose to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His Oral and Maxillofacial residency was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX (Parkland Hospital). His training in Dallas was excellent encompassing all areas of the specialty. Dr. Johnson joined Eastern Oklahoma Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1995.

Currently Dr. Johnson is serving as the Oklahoma delegate to the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Upon completion of his residency in 1995, Dr. Johnson joined Eastern Oklahoma Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. 

He has served as Tulsa County Dental Society president and continues to serve in other capacities. Memberships include:

  • the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
  • Oklahoma Dental Society
  • Tulsa County Dental Society
  • and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Johnson is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Johnson and Kellye have two sons, two daughters and three dogs.  Outside of work Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing golf, trout fishing, teaching Sunday School and bible studies, as well as participating in mission trips.

His favorite bible verse is Mark 12:30-31.

Dr. Johnson’s current hospital affiliations include Hillcrest South, and St. John’s Owasso.

Dr. Johnson has hospital privileges at Hillcrest South and he is an assistant clinical professor at the OU College of Dentistry.
