Meet Kipley Powell, DDS

Early Life & Education
Dr. Powell is an Arkansas native, raised in Conway where he graduated from Conway High School in 2012. He then moved to Fayetteville to attend The University of Arkansas, earning a Biomedical Engineering degree in 2016. During this time, he was drawn to the field of dentistry through his volunteer work at a local community health clinic. This led to his attendance at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for dental school, where he graduated in 2020.
Surgical Training
His interest in surgery led to the decision to dedicate his next four years as a resident in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. A tertiary care, level one trauma center, VCU offered a rich and diverse training experience to build his skills in the specialty.
Professional Career & Memberships
Upon residency completion, Dr. Powell and his wife, Jessica, moved closer to home with their two daughters. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the eastern Oklahoma community.
Dr. Powell is a member of the:

- Oklahoma Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Oklahoma Dental Association
He also maintains hospital privileges at Hillcrest South.
Personal Life
Outside of work, Dr. Powell enjoys spending time with his family outdoors. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, gardening, home improvement, and sports.
